REAL TALK VOL. 1

Hi guys! Real talk right now... Lately, I have been super inspired and motivated with all these exciting things for my social media, but haven't been following through all the way like I should. For example, I always create all this content, take forever to post it and just never end up doing anything with it since I consider it "old news". As I sit at my computer desk eating Vanilla Bean Talenti, a thought comes to my mind. YOU REALLY NEED TO LOVE WHAT YOU DO. It is so easy to stop doing something when you don't love it. My blog for instance, I like writing, don't love it, and I sometimes find it difficult to type out my thoughts for others to read. I don't have the desire to do it as much because the love for writing isn't there.

I say all this to help you answer this question- Why do you love what you do?

Sometimes we all just get caught up in the "doing" that we forget the "loving" should play a huge part first. Ever had a job you didn't like? I can raise my hand to that. Do you remember that negative or draining feeling you felt clocking in or performing regular job tasks? It stinks.

Your work is a reflection of you and you should take pride in the work you are doing. Work in the field and/or things that you love and I promise it won't feel like work. It may be stressful, tiring, expensive, but at the end of the day you love it and that outlaws all the rest.

Explore all the things you love and pursue them all because you just never know.

Getting my Bachelor's in Event Management to become a wedding planner was my plan. I interned as a day of wedding coordinator, but haven't actually done the planning has a job. I love weddings, but there are certain aspects of the job that scared me away.

Be afraid and do it anyway.

Don't let yoru fears chase you away from the things  you love. Let your love for whatever it is overcome the fear and show you all the reasons why you love what you do.
